Welcome

The IAH-Liaison with UN Activities (LUNA) Network want to hear from you!

Since IAH became a formal ‘Associate Partner’ of UNESCO in late 2022, it became clear that a better mechanism was needed to channel our support to UNESCO and other parts of the UN family.

The LUNA group would like to hear from any IAH members who are working with organisations in the UN family and, where appropriate, other intergovernmental and non-governmental organisations relevant to the United Nations. The aim is to collate all the interactions that IAH members have with UN agencies. LUNA’s objective is to ensure that IAH is participating in and influencing the global debate and policy elaboration on groundwater and the environment in a changing climate, and to develop dialogue and joint action by enhancing alliances and partnerships.

If you want to be involved with LUNA or let us know of any ongoing work with UN-related agencies, you can email luna@iah.org.
